GCC Strongest Man
Registration, results and a complete record across editions
The need
The championship needs to run each edition from athlete registration and application review to weigh-in day, results recording and archiving, with precise ranking rules for every event.
What was built
A system for managing editions of the GCC Strongest Man championship, from athlete registration and application review to weigh-in day, results recording and participation archives. It maintains athlete records across editions and supports the organisation of categories, events and lists, as well as delegations, travel and accommodation information, with reporting and data export.
Development includes rules for scoring, rankings and tie handling according to event types and settings, together with tools for entering, reviewing and publishing results. Project documentation credits the results system to Yusuf AlSaegh. The application uses React, TanStack and TypeScript with a MySQL or MariaDB database.
