Al Dana Drama Award
An Arabic website for award editions, categories and winners
The need
The award’s first website was built on a heavy multipurpose theme with a page builder: winners and juries were locked inside layout shortcodes, and preparing a new edition meant rebuilding pages by hand.
What was built
An Arabic WordPress theme for the Al Dana Drama Award website, organising award categories, winners, juries and partners by edition, with media pages, galleries and a newsletter. The project demonstrates award and event websites with regularly updated content and annual archives.
The visual language comes from the award’s official posters, and the edition is set from one customiser panel. A safe importer moved the old site’s content while keeping every link and creating no duplicates. Nomination and voting links can be configured in the administration area; the scope presented covers the website and its content management.
